The Center for Southeast Asian Studies (CSEAS) at UH Mānoa is pleased to highlight a recent immersive learning experience in Indonesia, partly supported by our LuceSEA Transitions: Environment, Society and Change grant.
For the third consecutive year, UH Mānoa’s Department of Urban and Regional Planning (DURP) partnered with Diponegoro University (UNDIP) in Semarang, Indonesia, is offering a two-week experiential and collaborative summer course designed to enable students to appreciate crucial challenges of urbanization, climate change and resilience in Southeast Asia. This program aligns with CSEAS’s mission to promote Southeast Asian studies and foster international academic collaboration.
UH CSEAS is proud to contribute to such impactful, experiential learning opportunities that broaden our students’ global perspectives and deepen their engagement with Southeast Asian studies.
